The special education system in Ontario has a language all their own. If you are parents of a child who was exceptional as recently identified by the school, you may be in the language you lose during the first meetings of the school. There are many abbreviations that are used by school administrators and school staff, and usually they do not believe that the fact that parents may not understand their ?language?. IEP ? individual education plan.
