Best Cold Beverage Stocks - Food for Thought and More Series ...

Care for a Cold Beverage Stock?

Welcome! ?I?m glad you?ve decided to dine with us today? may I suggest a cold beverage to start? ?While the choices are endless, I?d recommend the following caffeinated and non-caffinated choices that are sure to cause your investment portfolio to not only perk up, but also feel refreshed?

Let me begin by introducing you to a familiar, yet new, cold beverage option. ?In partnership with the well known Coca-Cola company, Coca-Cola FEMSA (KOF on the NYSE) is a Mexican based producer and distributor of Coca-Cola brands in Central and South America. ?If you?ve ever travelled to Las Vegas or Atlanta to the Coca-Cola museum, you may have tried some of these flavoured delights. ?Today, if you?d like to start with KOF, you?ll be delighted by it?s $7.4 Billion market cap and dividend yield of 2.2%... not a bad after taste for a company whose stock is up 18% year-to-date. ?And, with long-term EPS growth forecasts of 10.4%, this stock is sure to continue to sizzle, wherever money is used to invest.

If you prefer the less exotic and more home based brands, you may want to consider National Beverage (FIZZ on the NYSE). ?With brands including LaCroix, Everfresh, and Shasta, FIZZ continues to top earnings expectations. ?Up 24% year-to-date and at all time highs, FIZZ has risen to the top and continues to look poised to go even higher. ?The market cap of $694 Million is backed by a ROE of 35.2%, healthy for any investment pallet.

Finally, we also offer extra-caffinated and non-caffinated alternatives. ?Whether you?re looking for a Monster brand energy drink or some fresh juices, Hansen Natural (HANS on the Nasdaq) offers some tasty choices. ?With a market cap of approximately $7.1 Billion and a REO of 31.3%, HANS is up over 61% already in 2011? but it is not showing any signs of slowing down. ?In fact, it is back a new highs already after the deflating summer, making this a great choice going into the Fall.

Of course, we carry some of the classics such as Coca-Cola (KO), Pepsico (PEP), and Dr. Pepper Snapple (DPS), but each of these are inferior to the premium brands I?ve selected for you.

So, may I offer you a refreshing cold beverage stock? ?Which one would you prefer to sample today?

I?ll be right back with your drink? and several of my favourite main course selections for you to consider as you dine with us.
