Let me explain by sharing with you how I used to shop online.
Let's say that I knew the type of item I wanted, but didn't have a very specific version picked out. For instance, last month I was looking for a "ruffle curtain." There was one at Target that I liked, but I wanted to see what else was out there. So I typed ruffle curtain into Froogle. And waded through the results. I found one other result that showed some promise, but the site where it was listed didn't offer any customer reviews.
So my next step was to go back to Google and type in the specific product name along with "review." Sometimes that works for me to find product reviews, but this time it didn't.
So I decided to buy the original Target curtains. But not before seeing if there was a coupon!
So my next step was to do a quick search for Target coupons. Which was futile.
Finally, I was ready to go make my purchase. After I made the purchase, I was feeling kind of excited, but I just felt too lazy to log into Facebook and announce my purchase.
That was kind of a lot of steps, no? Well JoeShopping.com lets you do all of the searching, comparing, reviewing, coupon-hunting and social sharing you like on ONE SITE. Easy!!!
In addition to all the resources I just mentioned, they also have a section that highlights some current hot deals and bargains online. For example, I just saw some Neutrogena Loose Minerals Powder Foundation on clearance for $2.87 with shipping included if you have Amazon prime. I would have bought that in a hot second, but the only color left at that price was tan, which is about 8 shades too dark for me! :-) You can also add a hot deal if you find one you want to share.
There is also a not-to-miss coupon section. You can search by store name. I was definitely checking out the latest coupon codes for Kohl's while on the site (love that store!).
I think that JoeShopping.com has a lot to offer, but there are a few areas where I'd like to see some improvements.
First, I think the price comparison section of the site has a LOT of promise. I think that will be a place where I hang out! But I do think the overall results are a bit lacking. I find that searching elsewhere for products gives me more options. While less is more for some folks when it comes to shopping, more is more for me. I want to see as many options as possible. I'm not sure if the database of stores is just more limited, but if that is the case. I'd really like to see growth in this area.
Second, I noticed that on JoeShopping.com members earn points. That's very exciting! But I had to really dig around to figure out the purpose of the points. I think they can be used for monthly giveaways, but I'm not sure if that's the only purpose they serve. Clarification is needed there.
I think that this site has a lot to offer, and I think it is going to grow bigger and better every day. I will definitely check it out first when shopping in the future, as it might very well save me some time! If you'd like to get signed up (totally free, of course!), click here to get started.
